The valves are designed for use in liquid, suction, and hot gas lines and are compatible with most refrigerants, including natural ones such as R290 and R600a. They are supplied in normally closed (NC) versions with a de-energized coil or with a BB230AS 230V/50Hz coil and DIN plug. Designed for media temperatures up to 105°C. The extended ends in solder versions facilitate installation by eliminating the need to disassemble the valve during brazing. Danfoss EVO solenoid valves adapted to work with following refrigerants: R22 /R407C, R134a, R404A/R507, R410A, R407A, R32, R290, R600, R600a, R1234yf, R1234ze, R404A, R407F, R407H, R125, R152A, R125, R152 R452A and R450A. They offer a higher Maximum Opening Differential Pressure (MOPD) up to 38 bar and new features compatible with the new low GWP refrigerants.
Valves equipped with a single-layer diaphragm and a new design gasket for greater durability and reliability. Stronger covers with screws, body and thicker copper connectors allow the valve to be used at a maximum operating pressure of 45.2 bar. An optimized valve opening process reduces the minimum pressure drop required for stable operation.
EVO solenoid valves are based on EVR valve series. The rugged and optimized design provides greater pressure resistance of the refrigerant, which has increased the application range of EVO valves, including the use in cold rooms, chillers and heat pumps.
