The range of Danfoss GBCH shut-off ball valves for the natural refrigerant R744 (CO₂). These manually operated high-pressure valves are designed for use in all parts of the refrigeration system where the nominal pressure is lower than the specified maximum working pressure — typically in liquid, suction, bypass, and hot gas lines. They are designed to ensure standstill safety, meaning they can withstand pressure build-up when the refrigeration system is not operating, such as during servicing or unexpected power failure. The design solutions of this valve series have been specifically selected and tested for use with R744 (CO₂) refrigerant.
