A range of Danfoss oil differential pressure switches used as circuit breakers to protect refrigeration compressors against low lubricating oil pressure. MP 54 and MP 55 pressure controls are designed to work in refrigeration systems for HCFC and non-flammable HFC refrigerants.
The models of the MP 55A series are primarily designed for refrigeration applications on R717 (ammonia), have an adjustable differential switch on, and are available with or without a thermal timer. MP 54 series, on the other hand, has a fixed switching differential and a thermal timer with a fixed release time setting.
