Danfoss electromagnetic valves provide efficient control and regulation of the flow of liquids and gases. They are classified based on their mode of operation such as: direct acting valves, servo-operated valves, and pilot operated valves. They are designed for use in liquid, suction, and hot gas pipelines, as well as in condensing units and multi-compressor systems, in all refrigeration, freezing, and air conditioning applications.

Electromagnetic valves are adapted to work with most refrigerants (CFC, HCFC, and HFC) as well as high-pressure refrigerants such as R410A and CO₂. They can be supplied as normally open or normally closed and with or without manual opening.

Valves are characterized by high reliability and durability due to maximum internal and external tightness. A wide range of coils with different control voltages and various degrees of IP protection enables their application in humid environments and in explosion-hazardous areas. Due to their fast action, they are indispensable in leak/leakage prevention systems.
